The local currency is the Mexican Peso, but U.S. Dollars are accepted and can be exchanged at the resort, if needed.

If you will have a birthday or celebration during your vacation and have not already informed us, please let us know as soon as possible, but no less than 90 days prior to the trip.

Passports and Visas

Guests must have a passport valid for six months after their arrival date. A visa is not required for U.S. travelers. All other travelers should check with their local consulate to determine what travel documents are required. 

Specific Needs: Dietary, Medical, Mobility and Other

If you have any medical, mobility needs, or specific dietary requirements that you have not already advised your travel consultant, please advise us of this information as soon as possible but no less than 90 days prior to the trip.

Vaccinations

Please check with your local Public Health Department or personal physician regarding immunization requirements you may need. You may also check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s website at: www.cdc.gov. Click on the Travelers’ Health section, then click on the Destinations Link and choose your destination in the “For Travelers” pull-down menu.

Air Travel

Airports: You will need to fly into and out of Cancún International Airport (CUN), which is located approximately 30 minutes from the resort.

Airfare Discounts: Save up to 10% on your airfare through our partner, United Airlines. Airfare discount codes will be available approximately 11 months prior to departure date. Please visit this trip’s Traveler Info tab for the latest airline discounts closer to the trip.

Check-In 

Official check-in is after 4 pm on May 8, 2027. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage and enjoy the resort until your room is available. Upon arrival, you will be asked to provide your credit card to open a resort account. With a resort account, you can bill services and purchases to your room during your stay.

Luggage Allowances 

While there is no luggage limit at the resort, airlines often restrict (or charge) for excess baggage. Because each airline is different, and the regulations change over time, please check with your airline for baggage allowances. 

Pre- or Post-Stays 

Pre nights are not available as there is a resort buyout the week before ours. Post nights are based on availability. Ask your Travel Consultant for more information. 

Transfers and Meeting Up with Olivia 

Your round-trip transfers to and from Cancún International Airport (CUN) airport are included on arrival and departure day. If you purchase post-nights through Olivia, your transfers will be included on your departure day according to your flight times. We will request your flight information approximately 90 days in advance of the trip to ensure you receive your transfer. Alternatively, you can visit your Olivia Travel Profile and enter your flight information at any time.

Electricity 

The rooms are equipped with standard US 110-volt outlets.

Elevators 

Please note, the resort does not have elevators. For guests who may have difficulty with stairs, we suggest requesting a ground floor room for easier access and added convenience.

Excursions 

The resort offers a wide array of excursion options. Chichen Itza, Rio Secreto, Isla Mujeres, Coba, Tulum & Cenote, Ek’Balam, snorkeling, jungle tours, fishing, and more. These options are offered by a third-party tour operator and are subject to change. You can pre-book these services about 30 days before arrival. Extra charges apply.

Gratuities 

Gratuities to resort staff are included in the cost of the trip. 

Hair Dryers 

There is a hair dryer in your room. If you prefer a stronger wattage, we encourage you to bring your own. 

Internet 

Premium wifi is included and is available throughout the resort.

Laundry Services 

Laundry services are available for an additional charge.

Medical Services 

There is an infirmary at the resort. There is an extra cost for medical attention.

Smoking Policy 

All rooms, patios, balconies, and public indoor spaces are non-smoking (both cigarettes and e-cigarettes). The resort follows the new regulations in Mexico, which prohibit smoking in public spaces, including beaches. Smoking will be permitted in designated areas.

Spa Services 

Indulge and relax at the Club Med Spa by L’OCCITANE. Traditional massages and spa packages are available for an extra charge. 

Telephone 

Each room has a tablet that is used as a phone to call between rooms or to call the reception desk. There is a cost to call outside of the resort. Most guests use their cell phones and use wifi calling services such as FaceTime Audio and WhatsApp.

Check-Out Time 

Check-out is 10 am on May 15, 2027.

Roundtrip airport transfers are included on arrival and departure day. Departure information will be available at the resort.
