If you will have a birthday or other celebration during your vacation and have not already informed your Olivia Travel Consultant, please let us know as soon as possible, but no less than 90 days prior to the trip.

Passport and Visa
All guests (including guests from countries other than the United States) will be required to have a passport. Passports must be valid for six months after your return date. US citizens do not need a visa for this trip. If you are not a US citizen, please check visa requirements with your country’s consulate and the consulates of the countries you’ll be visiting.

If you have any medical, mobility needs, or specific dietary requirements that you have not already advised your travel consultant. Please advise us of this information as soon as possible but no less than 90 days prior to the trip.

Vacation Stretchers
Olivia will offer a 1-night and 3-night pre-cruise vacation stretcher in Athens. More information will be available approximately 11 months prior to sailing.
Vaccinations
 Please check with your local Public Health Department or personal physician regarding immunization requirements for all countries you are visiting. You may also check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s website at: www.cdc.gov. Just click on “Traveler’s Health” followed by “Vaccinations.”
Travel and Arrival
Airports
You will need to fly into and out of Athens International Airport (ATH). We encourage all passengers to arrive a day early to avoid the stress of unexpected delays.

Flight arrival and departure times
Arrival: The Athens International Airport is approximately 31 miles from the cruise ship port of Piraeus. Depending on traffic, the transfer time is typically 40-50 minutes.
We recommend you arrive into Athens no later than 12 pm on Saturday, October 19, 2024 to allow enough time to comfortably retrieve your luggage, go through immigration and customs, and make your own way to the cruise ship pier in Piraeus. Embarkation begins at 1 pm. All aboard is 5 pm.
Departure: You may book your departure flight from Athens (ATH) after 11 am on Saturday, October 26, 2024 to allow enough time to transfer to the airport after disembarking.
Transfers and Meeting up with Olivia
Airport transfers are not included. Optional group transfers will be offered to purchase from Azamara. Information will be provided in your final travel documents approximately 30 days prior to the cruise.
Luggage Allowances
While there is no luggage limit on the cruise itself, airlines often restrict (or charge) for excess baggage. Because each airline is different, and the regulations change over time, please check with your airline for baggage allowances.

If you would like to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, or a midnight snack in the comfort of your cabin, a room service menu is available 24 hours a day.
Discoveries Restaurant
With open seating and stellar nightly selections, the main dining room is where you'll find your classic dinner favorites, with a deliciously different twist, like gulf shrimp with cognac and garlic or a filet mignon with black truffle sauce.
Windows Café
Enjoy buffet breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The daily themed dinner often takes its inspiration from the region we’re visiting. Enjoy an extra live station made from local ingredients purchased in port, and speaking of choices, selections change daily.
The Patio and Swirl & Top
Casual “pool grill” by day. Then, fine tablecloths and flickering candles set the mood for a sit-down dining experience by night. Taste your way around the world with exclusive dishes using local flavors of the places we visit. And for a little touch of whimsy, a self-serve frozen yogurt station—Swirl & Top.
Mosiac Café
Comfortable and stylish, Mosaic is the place where you’ll find your favorite coffee drinks, just the way you like. Try the Nespresso specialty coffee (for a fee). Slip into a comfortable seat and sip for a while.
Aqualina*
Here, you’ll find some of Italy’s most celebrated local dishes as well as contemporary inventive cuisine. Pastas made from scratch and scrumptious vegetarian dishes that make sure there’s something for everyone. You won’t be able to say no to the famous desserts: Sorrento lemon mousse, hazelnut chocolate soufflé, or tiramisu.
Prime C*
At Prime C, you’re in for more than delectable dining. Your choice of steak, cooked to perfection. Crab & lobster cakes with fennel-aioli. Herb-coated rack of lamb, duck confit, Chilean sea bass. And the famous mini cinnamon-sugar donuts with dipping sauces. And, if the chef has made a visit to a local market while we’re in port, you’ll also have an authentic local dish, made just for you.
*Specialty dining is complimentary for Suite guests. There is a nominal cover charge. Reservations are highly recommended.
Electricity
Cabins are equipped with one standard U.S. 110 and European 220-volt outlet.
Excursions
Exploring our ports of call will be the highlight of your cruise. Excursions will be available for online booking approximately 30 days in advance of your cruise.
Gratuities
Gratuities are included in the cost of the cruise. Gratuities are provided for your cabin steward, dining room steward, bus person, maitre'd, and other-behind-the-scenes crew members. If you receive exceptional service and wish to tip a bit more, it is always appreciated.
Internet, Email, and Fax
There is an internet Center on board; minute plans are available. Guests may bring their own laptops and/or mobile devices and connect to the wifi.
Laundry Services
Laundry, pressing, and dry-cleaning services are available onboard for an extra charge. Pricing is available on board. Self-service laundry is included.
Medical Services
There is an onboard infirmary. Medical services are an additional fee.
Money: On-Board Purchases
On board, the currency is $USD. All purchases made on the ship will be charged to your onboard account, which you create during online check-in.
Ports of Call
The ship will be docked in Crete, Rhodes, Ephesus, and Mykonos. We will be at anchor and use shoreside tender boats during our stop in Santorini.
Phone
Each cabin has a phone which you may use to call cabin-to-cabin, and to the various onboard facilities. There is an additional fee to use this phone to call outside of the ship; cost is available on board.
Smoking policy
Azamara ships have a designated smoking area. All other areas of the ships are non-smoking, including all indoor spaces, pool decks, staterooms, and suites, including verandas.
Spa Services
Enjoy the luxurious Sanctum Spa complete with massage, facials and a myriad of other spa treatments. Massages and other services are available for an additional fee.
After Your Trip
Disembarkation
Disembarkation will begin once the ship has cleared customs and can be as early as 7 am. You will receive colored luggage tags to designate the time you will be called to disembark the ship.
Transfers to the Airport
Transfers from the ship to the Athens International Airport (ATH) will be available for purchase on board the ship. The Athens airport is approximately 31 miles from the cruise ship port of Piraeus. Depending on traffic, the transfer time is approximately 40-60 minutes.
You may book your departure flight after 11 am on Saturday, October 26, 2024 to allow enough time to transfer to the airport.

This trip requires good to moderate mobility, as many of the ports of call offer excursions with a lot of walking over uneven surfaces such as cobblestone, rocky paths, up and down hills and stairs. There are elevators on board the ship. In anchored ports of call, you will be required to go up and down stairs to reach the tender boat platform to disembark the ship. If you have limited mobility, you are required to travel with someone who can assist you.
