DJ Luna

Luna Rósa is a Brooklyn-based DJ, producer, and multi-instrumentalist. A true music lover - she refuses to confine herself to any one specific genre. Inspired by everything from Motown, disco, hip-hop, pop, house, and global fusion, she takes pride in her ability to deeply connect with all crowds, taking them on an intoxicating and nostalgic rollercoaster of multidimensional music mastery.

She began making waves in 2017 after being invited by a mentor to DJ for over 20,000 guests at 'Curl Fest', a festival celebrating the magic of natural beauty. From there, she began gaining recognition for her energetic, genre-bending music style from some of the industry's biggest players in art, music, fashion, and film. Some notable clients being: Mexican filmmaker, Guillermo Del Toro & Netflix for the NY screening of Pinocchio (2022). Marvel & the cast of Black Panther Wakanda Forever for the Official NY screening after party. Becky G, Tresluce Beauty, The Rubin Museum, Gabriel Union, & The Morgan Library to name a few. She also DJ’s the annual mixer for NewFest, New York’s leading LGBTQ+ Film Festival.

Her passions don't stop at DJing though. Luna has prioritized using music as a tool to create sonically vibrant and safe spaces for the queer community to move and release. In March 2023, Luna launched a global music ladies night called 'MAMI' at C'mon Everybody- one of Brooklyn's beloved bars that provides a community space for LGBTQIA+ community. It is now a bi-monthly series that centers QTBIWOC and highlights music from around the world; from reggaeton, to afrobeat, to dancehall and beyond. For NYC Pride 2023 Luna collaborated with a team of 10 other Brooklyn-based queer event curators to create an all-day mega party – SorBae - highlighting a wide range of music genres and offering a safe space to dance and feel free.  SorBae sold over 1600 tickets on its first launch!
