Coverage due to Job Termination
The plan provides coverage due to the job termination subject to the following: 1) your job loss is the result of your involuntary termination of employment or layoff which occurs more than 30 days after your effective date of coverage and 2) you must have been continuously employed with the same employer for 2 years prior to the termination or layoff. This coverage is not available to temporary employment, independent contractors or self-employed persons.
Waiver of the Pre-Existing Medical Condition Exclusion
This plan is available regardless of your age. Coverage due to pre-existing medical conditions will be included if plan cost is received by Olivia within 15 days of the initial deposit/payment for your trip, provided you are medically able to travel when you pay your plan cost. Please Note: This plan may not be purchased after you have made final payment for your trip.

If your Trip is Canceled or Interrupted, Your Travel Investment can be Covered
If you are like a lot of people these days, you don't just look forward to your vacations, you need them. A vacation is your opportunity to rest, relax, recharge your batteries or catch up with friends and family. Unfortunately, many things can happen that might cause you to cancel your travel plans or cut them short: illness, injury or the death of a family member. The worst part is, without adequate insurance, you could lose your travel investment. The Olivia Travel Protection Plan covers your travel investment if your trip is canceled or interrupted due to a covered reason such as injury, illness or death of you, a family member, a traveling companion or business partner or a terrorist act.
If you must interrupt your trip or return home early due to a covered reason, the plan will reimburse you (up to the limit of coverage) for your unused land or water travel arrangements, less any refund paid or payable, plus the additional air expense to return home or rejoin your trip.
Medical Expense and Emergency Evacuation Benefits Could Be a Real Lifesaver!
If you suffer an illness or injury, the last thing you want to worry about is getting the care you need. The Olivia Travel Protection Plan provides, up to the coverage limits, coverage for medical expenses (incurred during your trip) and special transportation (such as an air ambulance) if ordered by the attending physician.
Travel Delayed? You're OK!
You can be reimbursed up to $150 per day (to a maximum of $750 total) for meals and accommodations if your trip is delayed for 5 or more hours due to a covered reason.
Baggage Lost or Damaged? You're Protected!
It’s a traveler’s nightmare. You arrive at your destination, but your baggage has disappeared, or worse, it has been stolen or damaged. What do you do? If you’re covered by the Olivia Travel Protection Plan, you can be reimbursed up to $1,500 to replace or repair your lost or damaged luggage and personal articles.
Baggage Delayed? Need Clothes and Toiletries? Count on the Olivia Travel Protection Plan!
The Olivia Travel Protection Plan can reimburse you up to $300 to help cover the cost of clothing, toiletries and/or personal items if your baggage is delayed for more than 24 hours while you are on your trip.
Accidental Death Benefit
Your beneficiaries will receive payment according to the plan's Schedule of Benefits for accidental death which occurs within 365 days of an injury sustained while you are on your trip.
