Explore Manaus, the vibrant capital of Amazonas State in northern Brazil, located on the Rio Negro near its confluence with the Rio Solimões, also known as the Amazon River. Take the day to experience Ponta Negra beach, where the contrast of light sand and dark waters of the Rio Negro create a gorgeous interplay of colors and light; explore the Botanical Gardens with its diverse plant species from the Amazon region or visit the historic 1896 opera house, Teatro Amazonas. Then set sail on the Iberostar Grand Amazon.
