You’ll spend 2 nights in a comfortable hotel in Hanoi, enjoy an overnight cruise in Ha Long Bay, then travel to Siem Reap for 3 nights (hotel accommodations) before embarking on your 7-night Mekong River cruise, ending your journey with a one-night hotel stay in Ho Chi Minh City.

Your river cruise ship is the lovely, new 124-passenger AMA Lotus, which debuted in 2011. It features ultra-spacious 624-sq. ft. Suites; ten Jr. Suites at 290 sq. ft. and standard staterooms at 226 sq. ft., with 90 percent of her staterooms boasting outside balconies. With a décor that combines Colonial elegance with regional Khmer accents, staterooms include comfortable sitting areas, individually controlled air-conditioning, a mini-bar, safety deposit box, and robes and slippers. Suites/Jr. Suites have luxurious bathtubs.

Public areas include a main restaurant serving Asian and Western specialties; Saigon Lounge; Gift Shop; Fitness Center, Spa, plus a swimming pool and bar on the Sun Deck. The ship also features a fully English-speaking staff.
