Hike or ride a horse-drawn carriage through the park and learn about the powerful glacier activity that gave Maine its rugged coast. Visit the Bar Harbor of yesteryear and see some Victorian mansions built by America’s wealthiest at the turn of the century. Before you leave, be sure to replenish yourself with an infamous Maine lobster bake. You’ll be full till morning!

Stroll down Commercial Street, the main thoroughfare, and pop in to art galleries, kitschy LGBT shops and world-class restaurants. Climb the stairs of the Pilgrim Monument, a 252-foot tower, and be rewarded with a spectacular view of the Cape. Rent a bike and ride along P-Town’s north- or south-facing beaches in the warm sun. You may even make it to Truro Vineyards for a wine tasting!
