Before Your Trip

What’s included and what’s not

The price of your trip includes seven nights’ accommodation, Olivia’s signature evening entertainment, all meals, round-trip transfers to/from the airport (on January 23 and January 30, 2010), all soft drinks, most alcoholic beverages, and most activities.

The following items are not included: airfare, traveler insurance, excursions, Champagne and certain premium alcohols. NDA charges (resort fees) are not included in the price of the trip but have already been added to your reservation as reflected on your invoice.

Travel documentation and identification
You will need a passport that is valid for six months past the date of the trip. If you are not a US citizen, please check with both your country’s consulate and the Mexican consulate to make sure that you do not need an entry visa or other additional documentation.
Vaccinations
Please check with your local Public Heath Department or personal physician regarding immunization requirements for all countries on your itinerary. You may also check the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Web site at: www.cdc.gov. Just click on “Traveler’s Health” and then “Vaccinations.”
Travel insurance
We encourage all guests to purchase travel insurance. Olivia has recently partnered with Travelex to make things easier for you; you can now add your travel insurance when you book your trip, all in one call. In order to receive the most comprehensive coverage, please purchase your insurance within 14 days of your initial invoice. Luggage allowances
While there is no luggage limit at the resort, airlines often restrict (or charge) for excess baggage. Because each airline is different, and the regulations change over time, please check with your airline for baggage allowances.
Transfers and meeting up with Olivia
Getting to the resort
Transfers from the airport to the resort are included on the first day of the trip (January 23, 2010). In order to provide you with a transfer, we will need your arrival flight information. More specific information will be sent in your final informational package. The airport is approximately 20-30 minute driving time from our resort.

During your trip

Amenities

Resort amenities include: 3 restaurants, 3 pools, 3 bars, fitness classes, circus school, flying trapeze, tennis, water aerobics, rollerblading, rock climbing wall, basketball, bocce ball, kayaking, softball, ping pong, volleyball, water polo.

In-room amenities include: Flat-screen television, hair dryer, Internet access, iron and ironing board, mini fridge, radio alarm/CD player, security safe, and telephone. There are extra charges for Internet access in some room categories and for telephone use in all room categories.

Dining
Seating policy
Meals are open seating. We will have a special solos dining area.
Restaurants
There are 3 restaurants at the resort, each offering a unique dining experience. El Encanto, the main dining room, offers buffet-style options with 4 air-conditioned rooms and an ocean view terrace. Miramar offers oceanfront all-day dining, including late breakfast, light grill cuisine for lunch and in the evening becomes a reservation-only Argentinean steakhouse. Luna Azul is also a reservation-only restaurant offering contemporary fusion cuisine. There is no extra fee for Miramar or Luna Azul, but you must make a reservation.
Electricity
The rooms have 110 volt electricity, which is the same as the US.
Excursions
Excursions will include golfing, sailing, snorkeling, a sunset cruise; swimming with dolphins, and shopping in Ixtapa. These options are all part of the club's excursion program and are an additional charge. They must be booked at the resort.
Gratuities
Gratuities are included in the cost of the trip.
Internet/e-mail/fax
Internet access is available in every room. There is a fee for internet access, except in room categories S+, A+ and A, where it is complimentary.
Laundry and dry cleaning
Laundry and dry cleaning are available for a fee.
Medical services
Basic medical assistance, including a nurse and first-aid kits, is available at the resort. Medical assistance is available outside the resort for an additional cost.
Phone
Each room has a phone. There is an additional fee to use this phone; please check with the resort for rates before using your in-room phone.
Smoking policy
Public indoor spaces are non-smoking areas. Designated smoking areas are available.
Spa services
There is a spa onsite. Massages and other services are available for a fee.
Solo travelers
We will have a solos program at the resort, including a solos dining area at all meals.

Chack out time
Check out is 11:00 a.m. on January 30, 2010.
Transfers to the airport
Transfers to the airport on the last day of the trip (January 30, 2010) are included. In order to provide you with a transfer, we will need your departing flight information.
