Whistler & Shannon Falls (Four-Night Package)

Escape the city and wind along fjords and inlets, ascend into the coastal mountains, and stroll through the alpine Village of Whistler during this epic day of exploration. Traverse from the scenic coastline of Howe Sound fjord to the lush forested peaks of the Coast Mountains. This escape from the city is an ideal way to experience the natural wonders surrounding Vancouver and Whistler. Gaze out over ever-changing landscapes surrounding the Sea to Sky Highway, with a scenic stop at the 335 metre Shannon Falls. Views of Tantalus Glacier greet passengers en route to the alpine village of Whistler. This pedestrian village is located at the base of world-famous Whistler-Blackcomb Mountains. This world famous ski resort also hosted many 2010 Olympic outdoor sporting events. Spend an afternoon exploring eclectic downtown shops and cafes, hiking along nature trails, or relaxing and breathing in the fresh mountain air. Included in your tour is a Peak 2 Peak Gondola ticket – the longest and highest lift in the world. Grouse Mountain & Capilano Suspension Bridge (Four-Night Package)

Get outside, breathe in the fresh Pacific air, and immerse yourself in the natural wonders surrounding Vancouver, with a visit to Capilano Suspension Bridge and Grouse Mountain. This tour is all about adventure, as you take in the natural wonders surrounding Vancouver. Begin with a traverse through the green urban oasis of Stanley Park, and across the historic Lion’s Gate Bridge to Vancouver’s North Shore. At Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, stand above an old growth cedar forest and the Capilano River. Experience the awe of natural surroundings, view First Nations Artwork, and feel the rush of adrenaline at the Cliffwalk attraction. View the spectacular British Columbia coastline by land and ship, followed by a stop at Butchart Gardens en route to the British inspired city of Victoria. Board a BC Ferries vessel at Tsawwassen terminal for a 90-minute sail through the serene beauty of the Gulf Islands. A marine wildlife sighting from the outdoor ship decks are common, especially eagles, sea lions and whales. Arrive at Schwartz Bay terminal on Vancouver Island and continue to the enchanting botanical paradise of Butchart Gardens. Vancouver City Tour & The Lookout (Four-, Two- & One-Night Packages)

Before heading to the ship, you’ll explore downtown Vancouver from all angles on this dynamic tour encompassing landmark city sights, oceanfront vistas, architectural wonders, and unbeatable views from 169 metres above sea level. This tour of culturally rich Vancouver begins with an introduction to key downtown including Canada Place, and Robson Street. Disembark and transfer to Vancouver International Airport for your flight to Fairbanks. Your transfer to Vancouver International Airport is included. Note: Flight to Fairbanks not included; you will be required to book your own flights from Vancouver to Fairbanks on May 20, 2014. Book flight after 12 noon.

Upon arrival in Fairbanks, you will be transferred to the Spring Hill Suites by Marriott – enjoy a relaxing evening on your own. Dine in Lavelle’s Bistro, Fairbanks top- rated restaurant (which is located in our hotel) or take a stroll along the Chena River.

After enjoying a buffet breakfast at your hotel, you’ll travel to the University of Alaska Museum of the North. Spend the morning exploring Alaska’s largest collection of art and treasures from thousands of years of cultural history. You’ll then continue your day with lunch and a fun, inspiring presentation by the Yukon Quest International Dog Mushing champion and Iditarod Race dog musher Aliy Zirkle. Aliy will tell us remarkable stories about life on the trail with her canine team and show amazing photos of the remote terrain she traveled through. You might even get to meet a puppy or two! After the presentation, you’ll head south for Denali National Park. You’ll spend the next two nights at the spectacular, mountaintop Grande Denali Lodge. After settling in and adjusting to the jaw-dropping mountain views, meet for a gourmet group welcome dinner!

Just like the wildlife, we will rise early this morning to head into Denali National Park to explore the pristine wilderness and its wildlife with an experienced naturalist. Make sure your cameras are fully charged! Watch for moose, caribou, Dall sheep, wolves, and bears. The Tundra Tour includes a light box lunch and bottled water. The afternoon is free for exciting optional tours such as small plane or helicopter flightseeing around Mt. McKinley, whitewater rafting, or driving an ATV in the wild.

Enjoy a leisurely morning with free time to book last minute optional tours. In the afternoon, get ready to board your deluxe glass-domed rail car as we journey along the historic, unspoiled route to Anchorage. The views are magnificent and you’ll have a good chance of seeing wildlife along the way. Dinner will be served on board the train. Upon arrival in Anchorage, you’ll check into your hotel for the night – the University Lakes Spring Hill Suites by Marriott. Shuttles will be available from the hotel to downtown and back to enjoy an evening drink on the town.

This morning you’ll pack your suitcases and get ready to enjoy your last day in Alaska. After breakfast at the hotel, you’ll venture out for a scenic drive along Turnagain Arm where the Chugach Mountains dramatically rise directly out of the sea. Mountain Dall sheep are sometimes seen in this area and occasionally beluga whales are spotted swimming just off shore. You’ll continue to the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center for up close visits with rescued wildlife such as bears, moose, caribou, owls, eagles and more! As you make your way to the Anchorage airport to catch your flight home, a box lunch will be served on your coach. Note: Flight from Anchorage to your next destination is not included; you will be required to book your own flights from Anchorage to home on May 24, 2015. You will arrive at the airport at approximately 1pm. Please book your flight accordingly.
