LOL, advice is $85.00/hour if you're billable  My B.A. was in Social Work, M.A. in Rehabilitation Counseling.  I'm into Recovery Movement for M.H. clients.  Never heard of it check out organization USPRA.org.  Worked in a clinic and ethically couldn't take the fact of the financial interest in keeping clients sick i.e. returning to therapy forever and medical model driven by powerful drug companies.  Don't have much time tonight getting up early for Boston Gay Pride tomorrow.  Wonderful finding this group and others on Olivia site.  Maybe, we can get a group of us to take a trip see if Olivia will give CEU's for our professional chats.  BBFN, mefan  Take Care

thanks for starting this group.  i'm a relationship coach but my first career was as a social worker.  i count my experience and education in social work as a great foundation for who i am today in my career and those values will be with me as i go forward.

Hi - My name is Shelley and I am a new member to Olivia.  I am not a social worker, but am working towards my Master's degree in Non-Profit Management.  I am seeking to find like-minded individuals who want to make a difference in their lifetimes.

 My target population is foster youth, however I currently volunteer with an organization who tutors homeless youth which has been a great experience thus far.

I have two children and am seeking to adopt from our foster care system in the very near future.
