It was a beautiful day for me. Another year I was blessed to see. I decided to have a birthday bash and perform.  Some called me the Renaissance woman. As a musician I was known as Greasy Rib. Alternative, rock, blues was my style of music at the time. Also, 2 years up to that point I taught myself how to play the guitar..from acoustic to bass. But the electric guitar was my thing.

As I embraced this red mahogany Les Paul trimmed in gold, I walked on to that stage from the hips down wrapped in white cloth. From my shoulders to my stomach laced in black latex. And from my neck to my wrists, drapped down my back to my ankles an array of chains. Playing, singing in my zone bare footed. You can see in the eyes of many how they were amazed. Janet Jackson had nothing on me that day. But it was beautiful. Especially when I ended the show in a 1950's wedding dress.

Sad to say but I no longer play the guitar. But I will cherish every moment I've had. Now...its even better with my spoken word to music. I call it...Musoetry.

wow ladies!!!

mine is way lame and PG 13!!

When I lived in our family house in Mexico, I had the entire 3rd floor to myself. I built a house for my kitty right outside on my balcony, the house had all kinds of "toy-like" contraptions built into it, and had a "tunnel" that was painted in yellows and greens and had daisies on it...the tunnel led right into my room through the window. Once inside my room, I had painted al of the walls to look like lush foresty meadows with, once again, daisies. I had also built a cool little tower for my kitty, that was painted like a tree trunk, and had branches coming off of it that my cat used to jump around on and play on...needless to say my kitties name was DAISY! :)

i've got some carpenter/painting skills....but maybe I should have just gotten naked, and covered myself in paint so that i could throw myself at my walls and paint them that way!!!!

I do, however, want to try to do some crazy artsy thing soon! Any ideas?

I have two also:

First, I drew images of people only using dots the whole portrait through and get this....I drew it on the glass of the frame instead of the paper...inserted color paper in the frame...call it glass art....don't steal my idea y'all!!!

Next most artistic was reconstructing a commercial building into and apartment...by myself!!

Okay I have two:

First, my wife and I had a total Better Than Chocoalte moment and got naked and covered ourselves, well each other, with paint and laid on a canvas to make our body images. Then we hung it up and filled out our outlines.

Second, I took a photo of my god-daughter through a bubble, went back and color corrected it and entered it into a photo contest. I didn't win for that photo but one of my other photos did and one retouch did as well.
