Hello UpNorth  Ladies!

No, we are not from the Anchorage area....heck we're not even up there anymore...but I spent 10 years in the interior semi-Bush and I'll always ALWAYS be an Alaskan!  ...Left it 4 years ago to follow my honey au_k2  to  the desert in Nevada.  Yup.., .never thot I'd be tradin in my Bunny boots for a place with no trees and no green-age...but my mamma always said that beauty is where you find it..... can't see me growin old here, but it does have its beauty.    Well,   if you ever get homesick there in Punta Cana (haha)  you can always look me and Kris up and talk  snowmachines, honey buckets, and break up to us...and we'll know just what you're talkin about!     Done the Trek from there to MidWest Lower many times to visit family, so I feel your pain.  That will make that ice cold beer (or Coke) taste all the better when you're standing in line to sign in at the hotel in PC!   

I work for my Native corporation, reaping all the benefits. Kelly works for the North Slope Borough, both boring office jobs haha. Ya we bought tickets, whew! cost more then the trip! it'll definetly be worth it though. We're flying to Anchorage, then Seattle, Then Chicago, THEN Miami then to PUJ. We have a day layover in Chicago to rest after flying a whole day. That's almost 5,000 miles of flying!
