Hi Dutchies,

That sounds great.  I just wanted to confirm before I send any credit card info....Did everyone else pay CC for the sailboat part of it (Jolly Roger, or something like that) and then pay cash on arrival for the Island tour part.  I didnt' see that in the original message and just wanted to make sure I am signing up for th eright thing. :)

Hi Lobie,

Yes, we are going, with another couple from the cruise. The woman that is organising the Tour is using reliable local tour operators. We have no idea who is going on the tour, only when they are responding directly to her.  

My wife is Aruban and we go there every year.

I am a frequent visitor to Aruba, since 1979. I would use a tour operator that YOU contacted from the many aruba official sites

Explore areas unknown by even the locals. Touch fossils and trace your fingers along the volcanic layers carved into the cliffs on the wild northern coast of the island. Smell the salty mist carried inland by the breezes as the waves crash against the rugged shoreline.

This tour provides a full day of fun, adventure and learning and includes lunch at a local gathering spot and an opportunity to relax and swim or snorkel at Baby Beach. Through the daylong tour we will stop at various places of interest for short walks, to take pictures and for commentary from your guide. You’ll learn about the geology of the land and its rock formations, explore and experience Aruba’s abundant natural resources and hear about the Real Aruba history and culture of its people, its natural treasures, culture and traditions – strongly influenced by early Dutch settlers. Cool drinking water is provided during the tour, however participants may want to bring along fruit or a light snack.
