Hi All 40th Anniv Cruise I and II Oliviettes.  I was fortunate on Cruise II to see Ms Windsor speak.  She was a part of Greta Cammenmeyers hour presentation, along with Diane, and General Smith and her wife. I was so fortunate to meet (via the presentation) all these wonderful people who have fought hard for all our LGBT rights.   As well, Ms Windsor spoke briefly about the upcoming litigation and arguing at the Supreme Court, her wonderful case.  For those not familiar with this, it is most interesting reading and a lot is written at this time on the internet.  The case will be argued March 27th and there will potentially be an answer this summer (June July 2013 timeframe), as I understood it on the cruise.

Great to hear that Edie Windsor will be on this cruise.  Saw Thea and Edie's story on Netflix several months ago, have watched it alone, with my GF and others, and have purchased copies of the film from Amazon to give as gifts.

I love Edie's passion and Thea's and her love story is an inspiration and one for the ages.    It's a story that must be shared by the widest possible audience.  I believe that so earnestly that I e-mailed 60 minutes and suggested that it do a feature on Edie which is apropos given that her struggle is the case that will test the Defense of Marriage Act before the Supreme Court this spring.

Please tell Edie that Cherie and Donna will be thrilled to meet her and hope we can get together for a drink or possibly dinner.
