Congrats on your retirement!  I'm looking forward to mine.  Not set a firm date yet though.  This is my first Olivia cruise too.

Thanks sleddog! I am so looking forward to this.

 I have a double room to myself and no flight plans yet or hotel for night before. I would be happy to bunk in with others the night before in one of the convenient hotels. No hurry with these plans, though. Lots of time (my new motto)!.

I will do that ... I am mostly in LA, Vegas, San Fran, San Diego, New york and lots of time with friends in Clearwater Florida. Anyone that knows of lesbian friendly places to visit ... would love your input.

Welcome Wishful, I would check all the boards, if your travelling around the US you may be able to meet Lesbian's here who are willing to show you their home towns and the best places to go. Jackie

Hi there I am an Aussie gal and I have just confirmed my booking for the second cruise ... I am a doing this solo ... I am travelling around the USA for 3 months then jumping on the ship as the last part of my holiday ... can life get any better. would love to chat to other girls to make that first day ... well not so bloody scary ... a ship full of women and I will not know anyone ... is anyone else feeling the same way.

Alcohol will fix everything ... one drink to relax ... two and I am a clown ... three ... I may fall overboard lol.

Just booked 2nd Olivia Cruise without yet getting on the 1st to Alaska. Judging by all the wonderful comments, I know I'm going to have a terrific time and I now have something to look forward to, right through a Canadian Winter. I'm single, travelling with a friend who is also single. See y'all there!

I took the plunge!  I booked the Caribbean Cruise II.  Thanks all for your input.  It helped make my decision easier :)   I'll be traveling solo from the Wash DC area.  Looking forward to it.

You let them know you are solo and they ask a few questions. Then they find another solo who has same/ or almost same preferences  and if you give them permission will give each of you the others contact info so you can chat before the trip. Sometimes solos end up with a room to themselves. The activities set up for solos are fun and you have mixers right  away so you get to meet fellow group member .
