You know pharmacists can only count by fives, right?!   But day 1 is Embarkation at 5pm, and Day 15 is Disembarkation at 7am....   so those two are not really "days"  are they?

HAL ..DOES DO THAT Cruise San Diego -Hawaii ..Can u Imagine the weight we would ALL gain 2 weeks on the ALL YOU CAN EAT BUFFET..lol...We did do the Olivia 2006 Hawaii Cruise on Norwegian..our FAVORITE CRUISE LINE ..on their worst SHIP..We also have Done the Pride of American Hawaiian Islands...2008..Met our Childhood BFF's on Olivia's 2011 Mexican Cruise ..actually one year ago this week..and are going to be moving by them in KONA 2015 ..can hardly wait...to LIVE IN HAWAII...after being CA GIRLS OUR WHOLE LIFE..We will all be on the FIRST 40th Anny Cruise in Jan..We already have our group of 8 for Scuba Diving in Aruba and Curaçao ..

A 15-day to Hawaii on a HAL ship would be wonderful. Smile  We would only do it with Olivia. Yes  Would love the days at sea.  Would love cruising around the Hawaiian Islands.

It's definitely not in our budget for the next couple years ~ after blowing our modest wad on Tahiti.  And we won't have that many vacation days to spare till sometime after Joan retires ~ but we can dream ~ someday we would for sure love to do it. Cool

Well, since I brought this up.     HAL does a 15 day circle Hawaii cruise that is 4 days there, 5 days circling hawaii, and 4 days back........Whether or not Olivia choses to do it, would really depend upon interest, especially with a trip of such length.  I, for one, see myself doing this trip with or without Olivia.... and if many of us could decide to do it at the same time, we might not only have a MINI Olivia ( less the entertainment ) but a group rate ( 10 or more )  Not sure when we plan on this, since the Vietnam trip is really calling me, but not Audrey....  I may actually be able to talk her in to vietnam by the third time ( this will be the second ) rolls around......thinking some time in 2014 for Hawaii......

Agreed.  Tracie really wants to go to Hawaii but we have to find a price we can afford.  Someday I will get her there.

At some point, We plan to do the Holland America cruise from San Diego to Hawaii.... with or without Olivia.  We never closet ourselves on vacation, but mostly do our non-Olivia vacations with our "chosen" family, with whom we are totally out, or in large cities where we really know no one and we are still totally out.   It will be interesting to see how many folks are put off or intrigued by us on a non-Oliivia HAL cruise!  Hmm

welll.... Val and I are planning to take our family (including the babies) on a "straight" cruise in Sept.... so I am sure we will be ready to cruise with our Ladies of Olivia in Jan!!!  I am stoked about traveling with my family.... but I am sure it is going to be a let down when we arent greeted by Tisha with the "Goooood Morning Ladies of Olivia!" over the loud speaker  Crying       Not to mention that there will be no ALL women bathrooms...and 2100 of our closest friends milling around the ship.    But at least that gives us more to look forward to.!!!

Olivia is definitely the way to go.  I have been on one straight cruise and the first Sweet cruise.  None can compare to Olivia.  Olivia is tops when it comes to customer service and doing things right.  This is only my 4th trip with Olivia but it won't be my last.  Wish I could travel with Olivia more often but that pesky work thing interferes with my recreation and we have a timeshare in Hilton Head that we love to escape to.
