Is it too late to RSVP?  If not, please count my partner and me in.  Do we need to provide any info when we arrive to the club?

Oh, and Jeni62 - get it on!  I'm a newbie to Olivia.  Never been to Vancouver.  Solo.  We're all in the same boat (so to speak!). Live life on the edge!

Hi Joyce, the tally is 104.  Sorry I forgot to update!  See you all in Vancouver.  Arriving Wednesday, staying at the Y. If anyone wants to catch up before the cruise, let me know.  Bit hard to stay in touch when you can't exchange phone numbers!

Never been on this cruise before and never been to Vancouver before. How do I navigate this? Are the newbies uncomfortable if a little shy?

To Those Who Want To Attend This Party

I just got off the phone with Crema from Celebrities Clun in Vancouver (Davie Village). She needed a count so she could arrange for food/snacks for the Oivia group and a woman DJ. I gave her the number I knew about. Celebrities is giving the Ladies of Olivia exclusive access to the club from 6pm - 11pm. After 11pm the people who come in have tickets. The Ladies of Olivia  do not have to leave when the ticket holding crowd shows up. See you at the party.

Holy cow! I thought this was just de-ja-vu! I was on WC earlier this year also... I DID think the same thing about those posts back then -but I didn't make the connection... Thanks for making me realize I am not crazy! LOL

I agree! It's kind of like spam.
Same exact thing that happened on the other cruise about the children of Roatan.
People are either going to this or their not, and many are not just because of this.
We have seven days of a great cruise coming up, that what I'd prefer to talk about!

I know I may catch some flack for saying this - but times like this make me really wish I could "Hide" some threads on these message boards... LOL This thread now has 108 replies to it and almost 50% of them are just copies/reposts of previous ones... But since it keeps showing up in my "unread posts" list - I keep opening it so I can keep up on what's happening even though I am not going to this party... 

A simple "Bump" would get this thread back to the top of the list...

Good News! Davie Street Party (the GLBT Area) Look for the Rainbow Flags

Our group has an offer to go to "Celebrities" Night Club (glbt club) Saturday Night Before We Sail - from 6pm to 11pm or later. The men show up at 11pm - midnight but we can stay also. The 6-11pm will be mostly us. There is a $10 cover (at the dood) which includes admission, LIGHT SNACKS - finger sandwiches and veggies and a DJ. The Celebrities" Night Club hold 600 people. YES IT HAS A FULL BAR.

OUR host is Crema who organizes lesboan events in Vancouver and also works at Celebrities" Night Club.

I really need to know the interest in showing up - like how many think they will go! They will stamp your hand and you can come and go. Celebrities" Night Club is in the heart of the GLBT Davie area. Please show up early and tour from there.

Thanks for the RSVPs We now have about 100 Olivia women interested in this party and growing. Since we can have 600 attend we have plenty of room. Celebrities is the largest GLBT club in Vancouver. Check it out on-line. Please spread the word on this blog and the Olivia Facebook page. I do not have Facebook so please ask the Facebook group to post their positive only RSVPs on this Olivia blog. There is a $10 fee(PAID TO THE CLUB AT THE DOOR) which includes admission, light food - sandwiches and veggies and a DJ. The Celebrities" Night Club hold 600 people. YES IT HAS A FULL BAR. Celebrities must buy food from another club so the number of attendees is a factor. The party is on Sat. Night before sailing.

Our host is Crema who organizes lesbian events in Vancouver and also works at Celebrities" Night Club.

We now have over 100 Olivians that say they will attend so there is plenty of room for more. If you decide to attend at the last minute - OK - but snacks may be gone.
