Sometime the ships officers familys are on the ship and I have seen children eating on the lido deck

Playroom is for the cruise line cruises, of which we are not since Olivia chartered the boat.  Actually, never looked for it on an Olivia cruise, but I bet it's there somewhere !!  We've only seen one child on an Olivia cruise, a daughter of someone who "used" to work for Olivia, but I refuse to mention her name here or anywhere else for that matter.  Normally, you won't see one on board an Olivia cruise. 

Alrighty now, here's a really dumb question..

Are we ready for this cruise or what?

 

The weather can be one of two ways at that time of year.  If the sun is shining it will be in the 70's during the day and the high 50's low 60's at night.  If we happen to run into a patch of "liquid sunshine" as we call rain on the West Coast it will be in the 60's during the day and the 50's at night.  Not really long john weather, but it can be damp.........so if you are susceptible to that you will need a fleece or a warm hoody.  There typically is not a lot of wind at that time of year.

I am putting in a good word for lots of warmth and sunshine.

Okay, here's another one. . . How about weather wise. . . should we pack long johns?  What kind of temps should we expect?  I'm worried we're overpacking.  (Or will be)

actually Olivia is for adults only...it is mentioned in the Olivia Terms & Conditions

"The term Traveler shall mean the party making the reservation as well as all parties and/or individuals for whom the reservation is made, who must also sign this contract to ensure their reservation is confirmed and by signing below certify that each is at least 21 years of age"

I was curious to know if there are any children allowed on this cruise or any other Olivia cruise. I noticed there is a children's play/activity room on this ship and it got me curious.

I couldn't find any mention in any of the media on the website but actually I didn't look that hard.
