I love that the chocolate bread gets a thread. It is delicious! It's the trade-off...the cruise has some things the resorts don't have and vice versa. This is why it's best to book a variety of Olivia vacations! ;)

Hey Sleddog, I shall be asking for my special need to be met as soon as I board lol. If your travelling before hand, your right. I wouldn't want stale/mouldy bread. I'll just come home with you both afterwards....stay....move in. You can feed me chocolate bread forever.

Hey Sleddog, I love the "the special needs food" brilliant. We'll just tell Holland and America they don't want, is it 2,000 disgruntled chocolate withdrawing women on board.. We would be a nightmare. Think the Chocolate bread should be an Olivia signature requirement. Fitting that in with the waffles they did in Cancun which were the best I've ever tasted could mean they might have to offload some things on ship as we all put on weight......might be in danger of sinking.

Sleddog is a very seasoned traveler and would have the clout for sure...how about it Jana you ready to get some of tha sweet deliscious club med bread organized for us?? remeber it is calorie free as long as we do not make it right??? LOL

I'm not normally a white chocolate fan…love all other kinds of chocolate…but I love this bread!!

Maybe I'll ask Tisha to put in a special request…as this is a "special need" food!

I'd try and make some for you Jackie…but we will be traveling for many days prior to the cruise…and I don't want to hand you stale moldy bread.

Hmmm...being the chocoholic that I am, I just may have to give this recipe a go...maybe before the Alaska cruise if time permits!   Thanks for sharing it, Sleddog!   My only concern is...the recipe doesn't mention what kind of flour to use...unbleached, all purpose, white enriched...the list goes on!   Also, I've not heard of  "Barry Callebaut white chocolate chips"...will Ghiradelli choc. chips work as well?   If you DO talk the kitchen into making some, I'd like to be included in the taste tests!!!   YUMMM!!!

@Sleddog, as I'm your favourite Brit, any chance you might cook me some.......i am cheeky but worth a try Sleddog. maybe we will have to ask Holland America to do it, I bet the chefs aboard would give it a go.

 @Malinda it's fresh baked bread with lumps of chocolate in it. Lush lol
