Well there you have it .  I never ordered a soda at the bar Embarrassed  I'm a Dr. Pepper gal and Cindy is Pepsi, so we usually bring a 6 pack of each on, and usually don't even drink alal 12 cans !

Thank you for the info! I am a bit relieved to hear you can get single sodas. I don't drink a lot of soda, but I like it for a change, once in awhile.

The "by the glass" price seems pretty reasonable too. I still think we are ok with the packages we bought. My wife really likes wine with her dinner, so I don't see us having too much trouble finishing a bottle over dinner.

I know that you can buy a soda at the bar...and if you're in a room that has a refrigerator...those are stock with beers and sodas (if you want to pay an honor bar price)...i've also ordered sodas at the shows

but because i like pepsi products more than coke products...i usually bring my own sodas on-board

and if i remember correctly...glasses of wine were from about $5 - $9 per glass depending on the wine choice

You can't buy a soda at the bar? Wow!

Anyway, we bought a beverage card today and one of the wine packages. I think we're set. We'll buy some champagne in Vancouver and carry it on board with us and be good to go!

You can't buy a single pop/soda on board, which is why if you don't get the soda card and want a pop or 2, you bring on your own 6-pack. I fairly sure you can buy a glass of wine, but I don't know the price of that.

Yes, I know all that, thanks!

I am looking for some info on what the individual prices are on single glasses of wine, or champagne, soda, that sort of thing...

What is really cool is that you can buy a bottle of wine and if/when you don't finish it they will keep it for you for the next night.  So instead of $9 - 12 per glass you can order a $30 -$40 bottle and they will retrieve it for you when you want another glass.  I like a glass of white and a glass of red over dinner so that is perfect.  The two bottles can last over 3 meals.

Wine and other beverages question
09/02/2012, 9:52 AM

I've checked the HAL information and I know the price of the individual bottles of alcohol, the beer packages, and the wine packages.

What I can't seem to find is any mention of the general cost of a glass of wine, or champagne. If we want to order a glass of wine at dinner, or at a bar, I know we can, but does anyone have a feel for what the range might be? I'm thinking $10-12 per glass of champagne, and maybe $9 and up for wine?

Also, the beverage cards... I haven't got a clue what denomination to buy since I don't know what the cost of drinks like soda or coffee would be.

Any info anyone has would be most welcome! (Can't for the life of me remember from our previous Olivia cruise).
