The US dollar vs Canadian is pretty close to each other, today it is $1.01 vs $1.00 Canadian. Will recheck again next week after the holiday otherwise I would do the exchange today.  The good thing, we are not having to exchange for the Euro or British Pound.   

 

Apple Iphone has an APP for "measures".  It converts all types of measures including current exchange rates. I compared the rates versus what CNN is showing and they are comparable.

The Aussie dollar is the shiztitties at the moment! Best time for us girls to travel.

honestly the rates change daily...we paid on US the other day when Canadian dollar was above US and still paid a premium...paying more in canadian than US...today Canadian Dollar is above US again..it is a crap shoot trying to guess day to day rate...

That's outrageous.  I just looked up the Royal Bank   www.rbcroyalbank.com  exchange rate for anyone who walked in off the street today and $100 Cdn would cost $103.30 USD.  Sorry Joyce.  Sad
