Not at all  sappy Bet!  On our last cruise , One of the things we loved even more than the Olivia Nation comradeship , was how happy joyous and muiti cultral it was. If Judy was World president world peace would probebly be possible !!  xx

Must be some Welsh gals out there, where are you ???

Yes Jayne, I think international door decor should be inclusive of all nations, countries, provinces, territories, states, islands, clans, whatever! I work in an international environment and it truly brings me great joy to find myself in the midst of our international partners and allies. I hope this doesn't sound too sappy but it reminds me that a world of peace is not a silly thought and is something quite real and achievable!

Okay, back to the International Tour-de-Door Brouhaha... Here is an updated country listing:

1. Australia

2. Canada

3. Switzerland

4. United Kingdom (representing the Brits, Scots, Irish and maybe the Welsh but the jury is still out on that)

5. USA

Hey Jayne...can't remember what all my saucy ideas were...i'll have to go back to that thread and re-read them...lol...but i DO have the pic that will be the "pin-up" for at least the first day!!!   Not sure if i'll be able to figure out how to print new pics on-board ship...i'll probably need lotsa help with that!   And i still need to find out the cabin door measurements...i think that's what started all the "saucy ideas" talk...lol   Well, I think we're down to 68 days till we leave for Vancouver....I can't wait!!!

Michele-Bet, sled, Don't know why the original post tittle Door decorations keeps turning into  the tittle Post deleted !!  it's good there is now a new thread.  However  just like to add ,my original idea was not just international, but door decorations representing the different USA States. Malinda had some intresting saucy ideas tooo lol, would have had a crowd linning up at her door!  Jayne

Do I have to represent my place of birth, Wales as well as contribute to  Oz door decs,  lol   Jackie why  isn't  Wales included in the UK any more ? watched a BBC doco the other night which discused how Wales seems to get left out.

It's difficult to discern that much of the discussion under the topic titled, "Post Deleted" is actually about a proposed door decorating contest. I thought it would be a good idea to call it out as a separate topic.

I love the idea of an "International Tour-de-Door Contest"!  Can we get an idea of what countries will be represented? How about if I start a list...
