Hi Stenbo,

Vancouver Airport (YVR) is about 1/2 hour cab ride from the cruise ship terminal, or there is rapid transit call SkyTrain that operates out of YVR and stops about 1 block from the terminal.  If you don't have a lot of luggage that's the way to go.

Most people try to arrive the day before, because if you run into any problems with flights the ship will not wait for you.  I was coming home from San Francisco one time and there were about 30 people catching a cruise ship that afternoon.  The flight was delayed 5 hours due to mechanical, and the folks were absolutely frantic by the time we got to Vancouver.  Fortunately, the cruise ship line waited for them and in fact they sent a bus to pick them all up.................but you can't count on that.  JMHO

BTW, you're going to love cruising with Olivia.  It's the BEST!!!

Heather
