Getting to YVR is real easy from anywhere on the train. I was in Kitsilano last time and it was real easy. I wouldn't worry about having a hotel close to the airport that much. They have such a straight forward public transport system. Unless you have stacks of luggage. Then maybe it's worth it.

There are a ton of hotels out by the airport, most with shuttles to YVR.  Just plug YVR into Hotels.com and you can see the list.  The closer we get to the date, the more they will be on sale.

Sheesh. How's that for a title.

 The Accent Inn has good reviews and a decent price. It's close to the airport with a free shuttle. We'll be staying there overnight after the cruise. Our flight home is early the next morning, so we wanted something close.

 Not too thrilled about IHOP LOL, but there will be other options.
