Hi Robin,

I am with you,  My last vacation was in 2001 that I took with my mother and her church group.  .   not a trip I would ever have gone on, but my father passed away and they were already booked.  This is my first cruise, first time to Alaska (bucket list), and first time anywhere solo!

That's an amazing stretch of time to go without a vacation.  This is our second Olivia cruise and our first visit to the north west (other than a brief visit to Seattle for work related reasons). I love the east coast of Canada so am very eager to visit Vancouver. 

 Looking forward to some cool weather too!

I am very excited. This is my first cruise and my first vacation in 10 years.  Counting the days.  :)

Ooops, forgot to mention that the last big thing we have to do (other than pack) is purchase a new camera. We have an olllllld Canon (film) with a wonderful zoom lens, but it's time to replace it.  

 May go with a EOS Rebel, not sure yet though.

Well, we're done with the prebooking arrangements! Oliva, booked. Flights, booked. Hotels, inbound and outbound, booked. 

 Now we just have to gather up enough layers of clothing to be comfortable! LOL.

 It's become a bit more of a reality now. We are actually, really going on another Olivia cruise! Looking forward not only to the Alaska adventure, but the atmosphere of women only.

 I describe it to friends as our religious retreat. Smile  

Anyone else starting to get excited, yet?
