hi, we are also celebrating our anniversary, 20 years of commitment, and were married in Ca. in 08. we're both very excited about the trip and meeting others. we've also got children. between us 5 kids and 9 grandchildren. We retired last year. and are really getting into hiking. i went on a cruise about 25 years ago to Mexico. it was wonderful, it's like being( queen for a day) or for us a week. lots of beautiful food and so much fun.

We are not from the area we are from Indianapolis and we are traveling with the group too.  We Ded and I (Carolyn) and going on this Alaska cruise also and would like to welcome you aboard.  Hi Tami hehe

Get ready for the trip of your life! As time goes by keep talk'in on this thread and you will get all the advice you would ever need. Just wanted to say Hi from two fellow Michiganders. We are from Livonia but spend alot of our time between Livonia & Amherstburg Ontario. This Alaska trip will be our 5th vacation with Olivia. We are also going to the Western Caribbean in January with a large group from this area. We are hoping that after the January trip some will also join us for Alaska. We'll just have to wait & see......Big Smile

Hi Everyone!

We just reserved our room for this cruise! We will be celebrating our 25 year anniversary.  This trip has been our dream--always said we would celebrate our 25th with an Alaskan cruise with Olivia.  Amazingly Olivia has a cruise to Alaska in  2012!  We are very exciting even this far in advance!  What ever advice any of you want to give, we will be happy to read your thoughts/ideas/suggestions....we would appreciate it as we have not been on any cruise before much less with Olivia!  We live in Taylor, Michigan, near Detroit.  We have two sons, 9 and 13 years old.  I am a nurse and Jeanne is a nurse practitioner.  Looking forward to "meeting" everyone!  Thank you in advance for your advice.
