Hi Crickett and Jayne welcome to our group. Whats the weather in Palm Springs like in  late Sept early Oct ? We are thinking of having a weeks holiday in Palm Springs after the Alaska cruise next year. Like to go somewhere to warm up after Alaska but 113 degrees a bit tooo hot ! Its cold in South Australia at the moment so some of your California  sun would be  very welome here, cheers  Jayne and Angela

dry heat moist heat hot is hot I blew up the kiddie pool a couple days ago and spent over a hour in it yesterday just sitting and reading a book.  Glad I have a 6 ft fence i am sure I was a sight to see.

We had 113 the other day. Its always hotter than heck here in the summer. Well, its the desert, so I don't know why I thought otherwise!

Oh, but its a dry heat!   :-)

So glad you are going to join us!! Alaska is sounding really good about right now.. we are in Kansas and its been SO STINKIN HOT!!! We had the USA High the other day.. it was 112F!! Its been over 100 for the past 12 days and no rain at all.. the forcast for the next 10 days is over 100 as well.. ugh.. bring on SEPTEMBER 2012!

We are from the Palm Springs, Ca area and both of us have always wanted to go to Alaska. I'm already thinking camera camera more camera!
