Tami..dont you worry yourself hon.. I have two sisters that I havent spoken with in some time either.. (long story).. but I do have chosen sisters! My partner Deb has the most amazing sisters.. I have adopted them as my own. Sometimes the family you CHOOSE are the ones that tend to be the most important to you in the long haul.  You have a TON of NEW SISTERS here! Just because you are blood related to someone doesnt mean that you connect with them.  Just know that you have been blessed with new sisters that love you for who you are.

This is so great to hear that some of you have straight sisters that will go with you on a "lesbian" Olivia cruise or resort. Please count yourselves very lucky because I have one female sibling that hasn't spoken to me in the 10 years since I came out. I also have 3 male siblings who also no longer have anything to do with me. ( I no longer refer to any of them as brothers or sister ) I have an accepting father....who only talks to me on occasion when his wife isn't around. All have followed her example.....  ( how's that for control? )

Your sister will have a great time!  I took my sister-in-law to the Bahamas with Olivia and she loved it. Her Blackberry wouldn't work there and she was forced to relax.  Now my niece wants to go...see you on the cruise, I'm from San Diego.

hey cindyandlaura maybe your straight sister can met up with my straight sister that is traveling with me for this trip.  I really wanted to go and my partner could not get off work so she gladly stepped in. Thanks Joann  your a great sis.
