hello to all, okay, It is time I joined this posting. I can not afford the land trip so  I have booked it all, I am set. Taking a huge leap here traveling solo. Hope to meet lots of great folks.

Don't like been reminded a lot of you are going on the Western cruise in Feb, keep going in lots of airfare competitions hopeing to win us a flight to USA , so we can join you!!  We would go on a Olivia cruise every year if we lived in the States !

Okay, finally mustered the courage to join the group as I can't contain my excitement regarding this cruise.  My partner and I have been looking forward to this cruise for a long time as we intended to celebrate our "20th" going to Alaska, but will settle for celebrating our "23rd" in 2012.  Look forward to a great time and meeting new friends!

oh Carolyn....you're just back from the "Sunshine State" and taking off the clothes ALREADY!!! Must've been HOT there!!!

Well it is hot in here so take your clothes off!!  Oh wait this is the Alaska connect group.  Well it is cold outside so so put your earmuffs on!  Ok Alaska is funny sometime the weather is warmer than here I will look at the forecast when we get closer.  We spent a week up there a couple of summers ago and it rained most of the time.  Friends of ours went and it was sunny and mid 70's go figure  We will have fun no matter no matter the temp

meant to say.....mid-September will be quite cool and cold weather clothes will be needed. ( not warm weather clothes )

Thanks for the response.....My better half doesn't get on this thread much & has now decided to "get pumped up " about this Alaska trip. ( I think it's the cold weather approaching) Personally I say yuk  to the cold & figure once we get past our next cruise in January " The Western",  I too will be pumped about Alaska. Give you lots of credit cuz you moved from beautiful warm to very cold.  I am looking forward to seeing Alaska as Soraya was there a few years back in July & it was mild then but not warm. We expect mid- September will be quite cool and warm weather clothes will be needed. Looking forward to meeting you both in September. Take care & keep those comments coming.

We would love to join the group, only 11 months, time sure if flying....now I wonder what to wear in Alaska in Sept....anyone have any ideas...We are getting very excited about the cruise, been looking forward to it for many years...S & T looks like you do a lot of cruises...must be fun...this will be our first, and hopefully more to come...
