Thanks for all for the positive vibes sent our way.  We have endured yet another hurricane, with minimal damage only.  We were without power for about 36 hours, but managed to survive with the help of a generator.  All of the horses and cats are fine.  Our inner yard (about 5 acres) is a mess with limbs, leaves, etc. and the pool is a mess.  We also lost larger limbs and some trees in the "back" pastures, but we were a lot luckier than a lot of other Louisiana folks. 

 Once clean-up is finished we can then focus all of our attention and energy on Tahiti!!!

If we were too fixated on the Tahiti trip we are being sent something to take our minds off it, at least temporarily.  We have been batting down the hatches for the last 24 hours preparing for Isaac.  We should start getting the outer bands this evening and tropical storm/hurricane conditions could continue through tomorrow night.  Looking to only get major rain (12 inches upward), winds up to 70 miles an hour, and power outages, hopefully only lasting a couple of days.  We really feel sorry for the people a little south of us in New Orleans.  What a way for them to spend the anniversary of Katrina!!!!
