Hi Gretchen and Alecia.  The horse show tour leaves sometime around 10 am, so you would need to arrive to the hotel around 9am to sign-up (we need a minimum to make this one go), and have your luggage stored at the hotel (be sure to Tip the bellman storing your luggage for the Avalon group about 1 Euro/bag).  Make sure your Avalon tags with your cabin number are on all pieces.  You can bring your carry-on on the bus.  After the event, you will be transported directly to the ship, and your luggage will be waiting for you.

I looked into reviews and additional information on the horse show.  It looks to be an all day event.  Since we are not staying at the hotel and you advised us to check in at the hotel that morning to sign up, do you know what time the trip departs?  Additionally it says the event is over at 5pm.  Since this is after the embark time (4pm) do you know if the transportation to the farm returns us directly to the ship?  If we leave our luggage at the hotel in the morning will it be transported separately to the ship?

Hi Fiona - Unfortunately may not get your tickets in time, but don't worry. They are being sent to you and to Margaret as "e-tickets" to your email accounts. If I do get them, I will of course bring them. Also, Margaret offered to bring your Avalon Bag and Travel Wallet for you, which I am sincerely grateful for, as I am already "happily" bringing over 30 lbs of travel wallets and bags for our Canadian, Europeon and Australian guests.

I am so excited!  Thanks to Fiona and the Olivia folks for helping me pull this off.  Deciding on a trip a week out is definitely a new one for me!  Wonder what I'll forget to pack?  LOL!!!

Actually the dinner also applies to Tuesday nite too fo the other local dinner that Jill is in process of organizing.
