Over $240 was donated by your generous group of travelers before your trip. When you it the shore of Playas del Coco my wife Mickey and the CARE (Coco Animal Rescue & Education) Team where there to great you.

The generosity continued and by the end of the day a total of over $1300 had been donated by you for the animals.

 $10 will spay/neuter an animal or feed a starving animal for 2 weeks or provide emergency medical care to homeless animals.

Your positive impact on the animals in Playas del Coco Area in reduction of unwanted animals and feeding and caring for homeless animals will continue on for a very long time to come.

As an ex-SPCA Humane Officer and overseeing thousands of animals spayed & neutered...this is right up my alley and the center of my heart!!

One of our cruisers and past Olivia staff members, Sallyann, has been a part of an Animal Rescue Program in Playa del Coco, Costa Rica which is one of our ports we visit.  It's called Coco Animal Rescue & Education: C.A.R.E.

Since it's inception in 2008, they have spayed/neutered over 750 animals in their monthly spay/neuter clinics, provided urgent medical treatment to homeless animals and brought animal welfare education programs to the public schools in Costa Rica.
