My fiancé/partner of 16 years and I will be partying in Punta Cana Week 2. We live in Mannassas Park, VA (DC suburbs) and this is our first Olivia Vacation. Can’t wait to meet and party with you guys!!

I went to Punta Cana in 2011 and I found the people to be very friendly. The staff is of course great and I felt free to be who I was on the resort but we never hugged, or held hands when we were in the city.

My spouse and I are going!  Wondering though.... I just read DR is very homophobic and homosexuality is criminalized.  Is it safe to leave the resort?  I trust Olivia has worked this out as far as the resort goes... but I am still wondering...
