For All Music Lovers - Especially those who enjoy Meg Christian music. Care to participate in a group effort to accumulate stories, pictures, anything related to Meg Christian or past performances?
In 1984, Meg Christian ...who had been an original founder and mainstay of Olivia Records (now known as Olivia Travel) left the company. The recordings she made during her years with the pioneering women's music company included their first recording of the Carole King/Gerry Goffin song "Lady" on one side and Cris Williamson's "If It Weren't For The Music" on the other; Olivia's first album I Know You Know (1974); Face The Music (1977); Turning It Over (1981); From The Heart (1984); and the Scrapbook anthology, released in 1986 after she left. From The Heart was dedicated to Gurumayi Chidvilasananda,
a head meditation teacher of Syda Yoga.
Meg devotes her life to Syda Yoga now but occasionally travels/performs with Olivia. We are grateful for that.
