We are here in Istanbul as well but  we were to late to get in on the host hotels. Are any of the ladies planning on going anywhere for dinner tonight or Saturday night. Also do you know anything about the BIGUDI CAFE? I heard it was the only lesbian spot in turkey?

Let us know if there is any ladies we could meet up with before the cruise sunday?

I AM HERE!  and the weather is beautiful.  We anxiously await your arrival.  Check in at the Olivia Desk at each Host Hotel. We will have some helpful hints (Best place to exchange money without a commission just around the corner from our hotels, where to get HUGE jugs of water for less than $1.40 US (2 lira) just next door to our hotels . . .)  All the good stuff!  Safe travels everyone!

Our Chloe pussy-princess keeps hiding on us everytime we put a pair of shoes on. She thinks she's being taken in a car & to her brother's again! However, this time she is staying home with a live-in sitter so I hope it will work out well!

I'm not sure who gets the worst seperation anxiety, her or me!!!!!!

Whoa Nellie, you are so right on the packing fiasco.  We finally crammed it all in, including the extra return goodies fold up suitcase. Between the life vests, blow up tender/woman overboard boat, and our night and day belly dancing and twirling dervish outfits, we just made it under the 50 pounder limit.  HA  HA

The dogs are looking ever so sad knowing what the process means to them.  I keep telling them, get over it--you have a full time live in caregiver to be your butler for two weeks.  Kids are so spoiled now.  

The cats don't care, just mad that the suitcases are now so full they can't nap in them every time we turn our backs. 

We are on Luftansa out of Chicago at 3:40 today and hooking up with some of you? in Frankfort arriving in Istanbul on Oct. 1 at 1pm.

Let the party begin!! 

Yes, we are "finally" packed.

End result:  Both bags under 49 pounds!  Woo hoo!

We are never doing this again!  Next time.....I think we've said this before......and before that.....and probably before that too.....ha.

Next time, tho, really, honestly, we are for sure going to take less stuff.

It is truly a miracle that we actually got it all in the bags this time.

We'll have to pay for an extra bag home for our travel purchases....we packed that too....oh, and the life vest.....it all adds up.

sooooo…are you "finally" packed yet!?!

We just finished and are heading out in the am for Wash/Dulles (IAD)

We're hoping that the tropical storm rain & wind is gone by the time we get there!!!

Oh my goodness.....

Bags packed......bags unpacked......bags repacked.....bags unpacked......

Weightwise we have pounds to spare.....but spacewise our downsized bags are overflowing a bit.....

Today I'm repacking most of our clothes into suck-up space savers.....

We are sooooo excited......we can't sleep......see you soon!
