Thanks for this info!  I am going to have to call Verizon.  I have a newer phone, but assumed it would be too expensive to use it during the trip.  Those prices are reasonable!  Thanks again!

I just ordered my free loaner International Blackberry from Verizon this morning.  My current Blackberry isn't compatible for use in Turkey and Greece.  I choose the package that includes email, talk and text.  This package is going to cost me a little over $2 per day.  The package with talk and text only is $.17 per day.  There is a per minute talk charge of $2.29 in Turkey and $1.49 in Greece. To receive a text is $.05 and to send a text is $.50 for both countries. The cost on the ship may be a little different. I plan to use the phone on land only.

This maybe something that you may want to check into with your cell phone provider. 

I realized that not checking personal email for almost 2 weeks was something that I can't do Big Smile
