We are not doing the pre-cruise excursionWe are coming from Atlanta an have a stopover at JFK and arrive in Istanbul at 10:15 on Saturday.  With taxes and everything our flights were about $1,045 each.  I agree about having only one stop over.

Hi ladies, not sure what is out there right now, but we went with Delta out through Kennedy and back in through Atlanta for about $1,000 each.  As far as I can tell, Delta has the only direct flights from the US to both Istanbul and Athens.  My guess is that these flights will not go lower than $800 or so, unless there is something crazy to be found really close to the trip. I personally think it is worth a premium to not have a three-leg flight with a change in Europe.  We are  in Istanbul by 10 am or something like that, basically giving us a full day in Istanbul on arrival, which you are not going to get with a European connection.  Something to think about.... We are from Independence, Missouri and will be going to Greece and Turkey.  Still looking for plane reservations that aren't out of sight.

 We're from MN and this is our first trip on an Olivia Cruise. We're really excited to be traveling to Turkey and Greece. We look forward to meeting great people and making new friends.

Yep-- Aimee & Alisa from Columbus, Ohio.  This is our 2nd Olivia cruise. We were on the Rhine River cruise last year and made some great friends who will be on this trip also. You will have a great time!

I haven't seen this area yet.  Jen and I will be coming from Illinois, not too far from Chicago, to enjoy our first Olivia cruise.  We are excited!
