My partner and I have been on several Olivia Cruises. However, this time, we went on a straight cruise for my mother-in-law, (she turned 70), we would have brought her on an Olivia cruise, but she's looking for a man, and probably wouldn't have had much luck:)
Anyhow, we happened to have been in Port with you Ladies of Olivia in Cozumel, and I wanted to share a story that touched our hearts. We did an excursion with 3 other "ladies of Olivia" for a swim with the manatees. Unfortunately, we had to leave rather quickly, because our ship was deporting and we needed to have enough time for my mother-in-law to make it back to the ship. She had broken her tailbone before the cruise and could not walk fast. Anyhow, the excursion company had taken pictures during our interaction with the manatees but we weren't able to stay long enough to purchase them. The night before our cruise ended, we decided to get our final bill from guest relations. The woman behind the counter, looked at us, went into the back, and brought the pictures out. She asked if they were pictures of us. I can't begin to express our delight and gratitude for this incredible surprise. Paula, from Alaska, had somehow purchased the pictures and managed to get them onto our Royal Caribbean ship before we left port. To this day, I still don't know how she did it.
I hope that Paula will read this and know how very much we appreciated her actions. It also confirmed what we already knew, which was that the "ladies of Olivia" are the very Best!
Sincerely,
Allie and Tammy
