Yes, the hotel should be made aware ahead of time.  That will get them to staff the bar with more help.  The poor bartender was completely overwhelmed!

Hi Gals... Taz here .. it has been a little while since I popped in here and goodness me it's getting so close now!! Really looking forward to my first Olivia cruise and meeting up with girls at the host motel the night before.

We should notify the bar of our plans. In October they ran out of limes, lemons and soft drinks! Barring a snowstorm on my way in I'll see you there. Drinks

so it's now official…party in the lobby bar @ the Marriott (Olivia's host hotel) around 8 on the 27th!!!

 

last time we just took over the bar and the lobby…it was a great party!

Hiya all..

 

Last trip everyone(solos and couples alike) met in the lobby bar..I was there too and it was alot of fun. If you want to go out instead, you can take the trolley or cab to Channelside or Ybor.. In Ybor.. There is a gay restaurant called Street Car Charlies on the corner of 8th and 15th.. and across the street from them on 7th is a gay bar called The Honey Pot.. last trip, the Honey Pot peeps brought a bunch of free drink cupons to the host hotel to anyone that wanted to head out there for the evening..
