I think what he calls her is less important than how he says it, and if they love each other thats all that matters. If she is not ok with auntie then maybe she can come up with some better name and suggest it.......some use mommy sue and mommy jane, for example, whatever your first names are..........good luck and enjoy!

I just became a member and been browsing around, my question is i have an 8yr old son and he really loves my girlfriend and she loves him and treats him like he's her own. He calls her auntie and she feels it's a little weird because her and i are together, she's like a second mother, he doesn't have a father. I was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on what he should call her instead of just calling her by her first name. Thanks
