As far as I know, calls are free.  I live in Canada and the notes Olivia sent to us by email does state calls are free!!  It does sound unusual, but I'm not adding long distance minutes to my blackberry as I can call home from my room for free.

I have read some reviews in Trip Advisor, and guests have stated that it is true - no charge for calls to the US.  I know it sounds too good to be true, but it sounds legitimate.

I have AT&T and can call for an International rate on my iPhone the day before I leave. It will then only be $1.49 a minute. But texting is free if you have that plan.....

What is the best way to call home from this resort?  The itinery said that calls to the US are included - I have been to Mexico many times, and the calls have never been included.  Just trying to figure out which calling card to get???
