WOW! Your response to getting in your transfer requests for April 19 to Zurich were FANTASTIC! Thanks to all that we sent the reminder email out for letting me know you either didn't need it, or appreciated the reminder :-) Our women are SO GREAT at following directions. Even the cruise line was amazed at how responsive you were. SO CONGRATULATIONS!
If you are arriving early into Amsterdam, keep a lookout for the Olivia Logo in many bookstores, restaurants, pubs and businesses around Amsterdam. This lets you know that it is either gay-owned or specifically gay-friendly (although most of Amsterdam is very Gay Friendly!) Make a point to visit the PINK POINT KIOSK near the Pink Triangle-Anne Frank House area and say hello to Wolter and Richard who have been very helpful connecting us to the Gay community and businesses in Amsterdam :-) They have lots of rainbow merchandise, Amsterdam hats - fun things as souvenirs of Amsterdam.
Whether you are on our pre-package or not, I will have Gay Maps available for everyone pointing out the important landmarks of Amsterdam, as well as the Gay establishments, at our hospitality desk at the Renaissance hotel, so come by, say hello and pick one up! We will staff the desk between 10am -5pm of April 10, 2-5pm on April 11, and of course there will be an Avalon representative and a Hospitality ROOM available at the hotel on April 12 from 8am-4pm.
I leave on Tuesday for Amsterdam to oversee our Pre-trip details before we start our "official" Pre-cruise package on April 10. I hear it has been in the 50's and 60's - so prepare yourself! It should get warmer the further south we cruise . . . Wishing everyone safe travels!
Warmly,
Jill
