Please let me know if this is not you. We have 18 people so far, and I will be happy to make sure she knows we have 4 more if we have not already included you in the count.  Will you be meeeting us at the restaurant or hotel?

Hi !! Dyanne and I have been looking forward to this trip since early last year- we can't believe it is finally here!  Dy went to highschool in England and this is my first trip to Europe. We've enjoyed reading all the replies and it looks like several have a lot of Olivia experiences. This is our first trip with Olivia and we are really excited!

We look forward to meeting everyone once we arrive from San Diego, CA!

Hi everyone.  We are so excited about this trip.  this will be my first trip to Europe.  My partner went to the British Isles last May but I had to work.  this will be our third Olivia trip.  Anyway just wanted to touch base with some of you.  Reading the other emails is so much fun especially those who have never been on an Olivia trip.  You are in for a treat.  The last one we went on was to Alaska in 2006.  I had the pleasure of reconnecting with an old high school classmate, Meg Christian!!  that was so cool.  Hadn't seen each other in 40 years!! Woo Hoo!!!  Cruise docs arrived yesterday!  It's my first time traveling with Olivia and my first time in Europe!!!  Arriving in Amsterdam on April 9th!!!  Only 20 more days!!  Gee, I guess I'm a little excited about this trip.  :)

Your documents were just sent out today!  So you will be receiving all your information shortly. Yes, Avalon is providing a tour to Kukenhof gardens on April 12, and this information will be in your documents. You can sign up that morning (April 12) between 8am and 11am-ish at the Renaissance Hotel with the Avalon rep. They will have a separate desk area and the Avalon rep will take care of you. Cash is fine (Euro or US cash) - approx $40 pp and includes your transportation.

The Amsterdam Canal ride on the morning of April 13 takes you to see some of the famous landmarks and scenery along the canal, but not to any of the main attractions like the van Gogh Museum or Rijks museum. It's just a really beautiful ride on the canals. You should still walk around, and not feel like you are seeing anything too much. The stories that will be provided are fun and informatiove as well. After you will have about an hour to stroll the city before getting back on the ship for lunch and departure.

I am in LAX right now waiting for our Tahiti flight! Hopefully your questions will be answered in the documents, otherwise, I am back March 21.

Is Avalon going to provide the optional tour of Kukenhoff Gardens on the 12th or should I buy tickets on line. I don't want to miss seeing the garden.

Linda and I are staying at the Renaissance on the 11th and are tying to fit in as many sights as possible. Also was wondering what we will see and do on Canal ride don't want to double up on site seeing.

Nancy and Melinda - Thanks for the tip of the restaurant!  I have already been in contact with the owners, Essie and Carla, and they are THRILLED we are coming to town.  I am going to their restaurant the evening of April 9 to try it out so I will know whether or not to recommend to the gals arriving April 10 and 11 :-) They already have our logo signage and are passing it around to other Lesbian owned pubs and stores to put in their windows to welcome "The Women of Olivia" to Amsterdam. They are friends of two gay men who own the Pink Triangle Kiosk just around the corner from their restuarant, who have also been a big help to us in preparing for this trip.
