oops sorry that I called Ryan a little girl Sad and I'm glad that he is coming home.  I just got home from taking Jimmy, our 2 year old, to the doctor from him getting bitten by the neighbors cocker spaniel yesterday.  His punctures are OK, but doc has him on strong antibiotics to kill any infection that my occur.  So, hopefully his foot doesn't get infected in the next few days as we are scheduled to leave Satuday morning as well.  Have a safe trip and good luck packing.

Ryan is my  little boy.  I guess I never said that.   He is in the hospital for pneumonnia.   He will be discharged this afternoon.

As a single mom, it's always tough to leave little ones while they are sick.  I have a good friend (previous nanny) coming to stay at the house while I'm gone, and everyone else just goes about their routine.  I've got that part planned well.    Now to turn my attention to my business - and get all the prep done for passing the business to someone for two weeks (I'm in a 24 hour emergency call business), so that's tough.    Packing will prob happen 2 hours before the trip to the airport.    I'm waiting for Bunny and Weasel to send me their list (it's buried in the threads somewhere) so I can print and work off of it today and tomorrow.

 I have LARYNGITIS so I am trying not to talk, ... lol

Cynthia,

I really hope that your little girl is doing better and that the prognosis is good.  We would want you to have a great time on the trip and not have to worry too much about her at home.  Our 2 year old got was bitten by the neighbors cocker spaniel this afternoon just before I got home from work.  So, he has 3 puncture wounds on his left foot and cried his tender hearted head off until I got home.  I have to take him to the Dr. tomorrow morning at 10:30, our babysitter was going to do this for me while I went to work, but she had to go to the ER cuz she thought and may be having a miscarriage (she's about 8 weeks right now).  So, needless to say...I haven't started repacking the stuff that I packed 2 months ago and going over the lists that I have in my mind and scattered about my office in the non-carpeted, reorganized (NOT) basement office that I have!  Hopefully when the 4 year old is at school tomorrow and the 2 y/o goes down for a nap I can try to get some more things accomplished.  I'm down here now trying to work on the other project I started and finish up the name tags so I can post one more list just in case! 

So, hope all is well for you over Lake Michigan and I'm sending good vibes/messages your way for you and your daughter.

I'm so sorry about your child!  I hope everything will be okay.  It's rough when something is wrong with our kids.
