Last year in CI the forecast showed rain every day - and we only had one night shower that maybe lasted 10 minutes!!!!!

For CI, the extended weather forecast until Saturday the 16th is for rain showers and storms, in the mid 80s, which look to be the the remains of Tropical Storm Otto.. 

But on Sat,the 16th, the sun is showing, partly cloudy, with 85 degress!!!!   So looks promising!!!!!

Thanks for the info ,,,I do  remember the Canun rain and slippery floors,,,,,,less than 10 days and we'll all be on a beach singing, dancing ,,,,,,and chillling ,,,,,looking forward ,,,,,

The resort is very close to Nassau, so weather should be similar...I just checked and it is 87 degrees during the day and mid 70s at night this week.  At the most, you might want something long sleeved if you are hanging out on the beach at night, or if the a/c somewhere is chilly.  Of more concern this time of year is rain.  Forecast shows some showers pretty much daily, and of course it is hurricane season (damn! did I say that??)  I was very glad I had a slicker in Cancun last May!!  Not sure about mosquitos this time of year, although the set up at the resort does not put you in the middle of moist, lush gardens or standing water...it is very open.  I always bring bug spray, anyway...just in case.

Does anyone know the weather, is it hot and humid or if the nights tend to have those cool breezes,,,,,,where you might need a sleeve ,,,I always seem to pack all the wrong things ,,,,,,any mosquitoes ?????
