My favorite celebrity quote is from Paul Newman.  When asked if he had ever cheated on Joanne Woodward he said...

Oh I just love quotes!! Got really excited when I saw the post. I really would like you to read this though. Maya Angelou speaks here at her 70th birthday

I have one....

"It is my duty to never let the fear of my condition become real and in doing so, I heal myself". 

This was said by the woman physician who was stationed in the research station in Antartica.  She was to be the Dr for all of those also there.  After a while she found out that she had breast cancer.  They did an emergency evac to bring he back to the states.  SHe writes in her book that she kept saying this to herself in order not to panic prior to being able to reach the treatment that she needed.  I am sorry that I am unable to remember her name.

Twice I have used this 'mantra" at a time when I was awaiting results of tests I needed and it always calmed me down. 

I think that this person would also qualify as a woman that I admire.
