Sugar and Dixie

And here is "Dixie" with her new solder sister "Sugar", who also made the flight from North Dakota with a change of planes in Minneapolis to reach BWI where we then picked her up for the drive to Delaware - 7 years ago. 

"Dixie" is seeing a grassy yard for the first time since there was still plenty of snow on the ground when she left N. Dakota last week.  These two already run and play together so I'm sure they'll be fast friends/buddies very soon!  Happy dogs!

Dixie 2

"DIxie", photographed in our living room at 12 weeks of age, finally arrived last week!  And she is just as adorable as we anticipated!  She is just wonderful!  Another wonderful addition to our "family"!

oh wow! How cute! You all have such sweet pets....and that baby goat is beautiful! I want to see more pics of her! She's so spotted and pretty. Here's a snapshot taken with my laptop of my dog cuddling with his sphynx buddy, Bernie the cat. :) Photo 483

Soon....I am trying to get some replies out here today and then I have to spend some time booking my mothers flights for the spring to here and then on to Cape Cod ! 

You know how busy I am since I have always been  "Travel Girl" for both Cindy & Bev (mom) and of course myself !   i know that you share that title with me !

 

Thanks for noticing that my girls have not made it on here (except for the tiny photo of Layla with my name !

Thanks, JoCindy.  Not settled on the name yet. . . Spice is nice but will have to see a bit of her personality.  Have other names that we like, so. . . stay tuned or feel free to offer suggestions!

This was "Betty" - the most gentle dog I have ever had the pleasure of knowing and loving.  I miss her.  Sometimes "the good die young" is, sadly, oh, so true.

Okay, it's official.  We made the decision today to add this little doll to our household!

She'll be coming to us from North Dakota (flying from Minot to Minneapolis and then to Baltimore-Washington International) and, if all goes well, she'll be here in less than 2 weeks!

She's coming to us from the same breeder our "Sugar" came from and this one has a cockapoo for a mother and a poodle for a dad.  She won't shed, has a sweet temperament, and will probably top out at approx. 20-25 lbs (where Sugar is closer to 35 lbs.)

Yes, Evergreen, she does have my big eyes (compare baby photos!) and she does like her rainbow colors!  Smile
