First, I want to welcome you to our wonderful group of ladies..... I would love to put your mind to ease and tell you that Olivia does a great job at making the solo trip very memorable.  I just came back from my first O trip to Cancun.  I met so many wonderful single and coupled ladies.  There are more activities then you'll have time for and so many new friends to meet. 

I made friends with many of the O staff as well as many great ladies from the trip.  I have managed to keep in touch with most of them and have planned some future trips too.  If you have any questions, please feel free to post or send me a direct e-mail.   I will let you in on a little secert though the more you post on the site the more friends you will have once you get to Ixtapa.  Since I was going to Cancun alone I decided to start posting early and by the time I got there I had made friends from all around the world.

I highly encourage you to take this trip..... I promise you it will be one you will never forget and by the end of the trip you will be signing up for another one.  I look forward to talking with you goofysal......

Does anyone know the discount code to book our flight on American Airlines? We booked in October 2007 and they said they would send it but don't have it in any of my materials.  Looking forward to the trip.  My wife and I will celebrate our 22nd anniversary and her 50th birthday (Jan. 25).  Any info on airlines is appreciated.

It looks like a few more girls have signed up for this trip, how exciting!  I recently got back from Cacun in May, and let me tell you it was great..... crystal blue water and white sands, a ton of friends and many good times.  I agree with Deni I think the resorts are more relaxing but still give you the option to do as much as you would like.

Welcome Deni to the group.... I look forward to getting to know all of you better.  I've had the opportunity to meet some of you on prior trips and look forward to vacation with everyone again.  Jan. 2009 can't come soon enough.

Hi there, I have done both resort & cruises & I actually like the resorts better! You don't feel like your on such a time limit & it's a lil' more relaxing I think.

The airport to which you will fly into would be Zihuatanejo Airport.

Im thinking of booking this trip.  Ive done Olivia cruise but not a resort trip yet.  Have any of you been to Ixtapa before.  Are the resort trip just as fantastic as the cruises?  What airport in MX would we fly into?

Just returned from Cancun & we will definitely be sharing some wine with you in Ixtapa too. Loved meeting both of you in Columbus Ilse. Funny you mentioned your books since I had 2 of your books with me in Cancun! They are great reading. Although the trip is far away, we are counting down the days until vacationing with the Olivia girls.

it's kris and madonna who were also on the last mexico trip - we were all set for the turks adventure but life has changed a bit and we will be in ixtapa instead...!! for those of you who haven't me us i am a fulltime author - www.krisradish.com and my partner madonna is my manager - madonna will just be finishing a very intensive sommelier program in california when we arrive in mexico so get out the glasses...we live in wisconsin(but not for long thank god) but will be coming from california where she has been attending school and i have been doing research for my seventh novel - WE WILL BE READY FOR LOTS OF FUN - also we want to stay an extra week if anyone knows the area or places to rent.....anxious to meet you all - !!! and what the hell - lets do a book club while i am there...~! with shots and wine of course......and this time we are bringing antibiotics - !!!  happy summer wonderful women....

I didn't realize a board was put together, we booked this trip last November during the Vallarta Palace trip.  Now that it's a year away (from today,) it's certainly time to start getting excited.

This will be our third Olivia trip,( Hawaii in '06, and Vallarta Palace in '07.)  We loved our resort trip and are looking forward to another fantastic week.
