There will be internet access in a computer room.  There is a fee.  (about $15 for a couple of hours)

 

I found the cheapest way to stay in touch with the US is to have your cell phone company put international access on your phone.

 

$1.99 per minute for phone calls (AT&T)

$0.50 per text (AT&T)

 

Use the text messaging to stay in touch but in an emergency, you have access to telephone calls.
