Funny Challenge

Thanks for "The Question" Karen...

I signed up in my town of Durham, NC to be a mentor with high school age kids.  Loved the training and orientation sessions.  Being a manly kind of dyke, it didn't surprize me that I had lots in common with the guys.  Talking and sharing with them was easy.  I was a little surprized that I had very little to nothing in common with the gals.  Talking with them was worse than pulling teeth.  Now all I need to do is tell the woman running the program that I want to mentor the guys, not the gals.  Geez... am I really a lesbian if I perfer being with the guys?????  :-)

Thanks for keeping up and checking in with me... 

I feel like I've got THE SECRET...I'm not even sure if I posted THE QUESTION...

Just got home after 20 days on the road...a first for me since I've been an active parent for over 30 years, which means I've had to come and go, back and forth, for most of those years.  My youngest son has been away from home now for a little over a year, so these 20 days "out there" were my gift...and my challenge...

So here's THE QUESTION:  What's the funniest challenge you've taken on in recent times?
